"Through Biblical counseling, I went through a series of discussions, emotions, and thoughts that have led me to being more open with others, as well as being open with myself and discovering who I am. There is this open space that has led me to being comfortable with myself. Within the midst of counseling, even after, there is this openness of the Spirit being there, comforting me, along with counselor Keown who has helped me to come out clean with all of my frustrations, difficulties, even improvements that He has led and opened a way for me to be comfortable in myself. There has been truth that was revealed from every session that had led me in a new direction in which to do things whether writing out what has been on my heart, reading and reflecting on scripture, or hearing what the Spirit is telling me from the battles that I have been facing in my mind. Finding my identity and personality was one thing that I wrestled with but the revelation I received has led to me a new perspective and comfort with self. I have been reminded that God knows me best and has created my being, He has made and shaped my personality and who I am to be. From these sessions and daily persistence, I would definitely recommend counseling and aid from Anchored in Christ Ministry. Love, respect, truth and encouragement is what fueled me. The heart of God and His revelation from what I’ve faced was definitely poured out and will place a new perspective on those that come for help. This process is led and orchestrated by God as He gives knowledge and reveals truth to counselor Keown, as well with her loving support through it all."
